back to the 1990s and the pressures on the borough from developers have changed since then.</span></p> <p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:6.0pt;margin-left:0cm'><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"'>The Council's Development Plan, also known as the Local Development Framework (LDF), sets the context for how Spelthorne is expected to change over the next 20 years.&nbsp; This document gives a legal status to the policies it contains and this has been validated by a Government Inspector. The aim of the review of SPG is to provide further detail of the Council's policies.&nbsp; </span></p> <p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:6.0pt;margin-left:0cm'><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"'>The process will produce a completely new set of guidance called Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) to replace the old SPG.&nbsp;
